RURAL RIDES IN ASSOCIATION WITH RIDE WISE
Rural Rides is a well established program of free guided cycle rides. The rides start from various locations throughout the city and county and are available for all levels of fitness and skill. Simply follow the link on the Links Page to view the 2011 program and get involved. There are over 80 rides to choose from!
NEWPORT VELODROME TRIP
A small group of BRC members had a trip to Newport Velodrome on Thursday 19th January for a 'taster session'.
Many had not ridden on a track before or even on a fixed wheel bike with no brakes! That said everyone enjoyed the trip and 'conquered the banking'. Special thanks are due to Geoff Cooke for giviing up his time and acting as our coach for the session which would not have been possible without his involvement. As always Geoff was full of encouragement and enthusiasm and really made the day.

Leicester Forest CC's first-ever cycle jumble in recent times will take place on Saturday 17 March 2012, at Kirby Muxloe village hall, LE9 2EN. Come along between 12.00 and 15.00 to buy or sell bike bits; clothing; books; anything cycle-related. Set-up from 10.00, limited room availability for the sale of complete bikes.
